As we enter the final week of the school year—Week 38—I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your incredible support and partnership. It’s been a year of growth, learning, and unforgettable moments.
Here’s what to expect during our final week:
Monday, May 25: No school in observance of Memorial Day. May we take a moment to honor and remember those who have served our country.
Tuesday, May 26 & Wednesday, May 27: Half days with noon dismissal. Please ensure your child is picked up promptly at 12:00 PM.
Thursday, May 28: An independent study home day for all students. Use this day to reflect, rest, and celebrate all that’s been accomplished.
Friday, May 29: No school—summer break officially begins!
I’m incredibly proud of our students and so thankful for the dedication of our teachers, staff, and families. Have a joyful and restful summer—we’ll see you back in the fall, ready for another great year together!
Sincerely,
Sandi Knapp

COMPETITIVE GREATNESS
I work towards competitive greatness. I try my very best, even when things are difficult and challenging. I see challenges as an opportunity to grow and become the best I can be.
“There’s more pleasure in being involved in something that's difficult than there is in being involved in something that anybody else could do.” -Coach John Wooden
ACADEMIC ADVISORS CONNECTION
We wish you all a fantastic summer filled with special family time together. It has been our privilege to partner with you this school year!
What a gift this school year has been - learning, growing, laughing, and walking alongside each and every FHL family. From our youngest TK students to our 8th graders, each child has brought something unique and special to the FHL community. Congratulations to every family for your hard work, dedication, and perseverance throughout the year.
This past week at Kit Carson Park, we enjoyed a wonderful celebration recognizing student promotions to the next grade level and presenting virtue awards. The certificates presented to the students represented much more than academics - they reflected growth, courage, friendships, and the faithful support of FHL parents who pour into their children each and every day.
To the families moving on to our hybrid campus, across the street to the high school, or to another school, you will truly be missed. Thank you for being such an important part of FHL. We are excited for all that lies ahead and wish you the very best in your next chapter.
